WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING TO CREATE SAFE AND HYGIENIC VENUES?

We are so happy to welcome you back! To keep you safe, all the staff are vaccinated and all patrons over 12 years and 2 months will be asked to provide us with evidence of their vaccination to visit the venue. Our dedicated Marshals are keeping an eye on the cleanliness and sanitation, ventilation is being promoted through open doors and windows, and physical distancing is being encouraged.

DO I HAVE TO WEAR A MASK?

You do not need to wear a mask, but our staff will continue to wear them when serving you.
In Melbourne you should carry a mask with you to wear on public transport, taxis and in ride share cars, or if you cannot safely physically distance yourself from others in a crowded setting.

HOW MANY CAN WE BOOK FOR?

You can currently book via our bookings page for up to 10 guests. For larger groups, please email  functions@cornerhotel.com. Bookings are recommended as capacity is limited.

HOW LONG CAN WE BOOK FOR?

We are currently offering sitting sessions of 2 hours. Head to our bookings page to book now! For larger groups, longer bookings or end of year celebrations please email functions@cornerhotel.com

WILL YOU TAKE OUR DETAILS ON ENTRY?

Yes, we are required by the Public Health Orders to ask you to check in using the Vic Services app, if you don’t have a phone we can take down your details manually.
You will also be required to provide proof of vaccination for everyone in your party aged 12 and over.

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO DO?

Wash and sanitise your hands regularly, wear your mask when leaving the house, maintain social distance and continue doing the right thing so we can see you soon.
Most importantly, respect our staff and security as they navigate the new regulations.

LEAVING THE VENUE

When the event ends and/or you exit the building, you must:
1) Exit in an orderly and appropriate manner;
2) Follow the directions of staff to clear an area or access way;
3) Not cause undue noise or disruption to the adjacent amenity or neighbouring properties.

I PURCHASED A TICKET TO A SHOW THAT DIDN’T GO AHEAD. WILL I RECEIVE A REFUND?

Our bookings team are working to confirm new dates for all shows that were affected by Covid-19. All original tickets will be valid for shows on their new dates. All ticket purchasers should have been contacted via email with any info. Please contact the box office at ticketing@cglive.com.au for all further queries.

What should I do if I experience antisocial behaviour in the venue?

We strive to create a safe & inclusive space for everyone. If you experience antisocial behaviour in the venue please don’t hesitate to speak to a staff member.

I’m a Music Victoria, RRR FM or PBS FM subscriber, how do I redeem my discount?

The Corner offers 10% off food & drinks for all Music Victoria, RRR FM & PBS FM members to say thanks for supporting our local music community. All you need to do is show your card at the bar at time of purchase to redeem. **Offer excludes functions & already discounted items.

Can I purchase tickets over the phone?

Tickets can be purchased 24 hours a day via our gigs page. If you require any assistance contact us at ticketing@cglive.com.au

Looking to buy or sell tickets for a sold out gig?

Tixel is our recommended resale platform for any sold out show. Tickets are verified and will be transferred to your details once purchase is finalised so you can feel secure in your purchase. Please contact the box office if you have any questions or check the show’s Facebook event for verified Tixel links or click here for a full list.

Lost Property

Lost property remains on site for a limited period of time before being donated or disposed of and we take no responsibility for items left behind at the venue. Please click here to enquire about any lost property.

What are the bookings fees for ticketing?

Booking fees are charged to cover administration and delivery costs as well as bank fees. Booking fees are NOT refundable.

Where can I find the set times for a show?

Set times will be posted on individual show listings one week prior to the show, just click through to the show from our Gigs page for all the info.

Are shows at the Corner seated or standing?

Our bandrooms are general admission and standing room only, however some gigs or events will have allocated seating. Check our gigs page for details.
If you need a seat at a show, please ask a staff member to help you.

Does the Corner have wheelchair access?

Yes, wheelchair access is via Botherambo Street. The rooftop bar is fully wheelchair accessible (with the exception of the private dining room) and can be accessed via a lift. Please see staff on arrival or call 9427 7300 to discuss any special requirements.

Can I bring recording devices like audio, tape, camera or film into the Corner?

No, you cannot record an artist’s performance. You would require permission from the artist as per the Copyright Act, as the performance is “owned” by the artist. The authority to allow or not allow such recording devices on the night rests with the artists performing and not the venue.

Why can’t a person under the age of 18 attend shows?

It is venue policy that all our patrons be over the age of 18 in the bandroom. The Corner does hold strictly under age events. See the Gigs page for details.

Does the Corner have a cloakroom?

The cloakroom is currently closed. Please limit bags that you’re bringing to the venue to 30cm x 20cm.

“I lost my ticket”

If you have misplaced your confirmation email containing the E-ticket(s) please email the Box Office on ticketing@cglive.com.au and they can re-send.
