The Corner Hotel
Can I purchase tickets over the phone?
Yes, by calling 9427 9198. Box office hours are Mon 9am – 6pm, Tue – Fri 9am – 8pm and Sat 10am – 8pm. You can also purchase tickets 24 hours at cornerhotel.com.
What are the bookings fees for ticketing?
Booking fees are charged to cover administration and delivery costs as well as bank fees.
Are shows at the Corner seated or standing?
Corner Hotel performances are general admission and standing room only unless otherwise stated on the Gigs page.
Does the Corner have wheelchair access?
The Corner has a moveable ramp close to the front door. Please see staff on arrival or call 9427 7300 to discuss any special requirements. Please note the Roof Top Bar is not accessible.
Can I bring recording devices like audio, tape, camera or film into the Corner?
No, you cannot record an artist’s performance. You would require permission from the artist as per the Copyright Act, as the performance is “owned” by the artist. The authority to allow or not allow such recording devices on the night rests with the artists performing and not the venue.
Why can’t a person under the age of 18 attend shows?
It is venue policy that all our patrons be over the age of 18 in the bandroom.
Why can’t the Corner run “all ages” shows?
Victorian licensing laws do not allow hotels to hold “all ages” events. The Corner does hold strictly under age events. See the Gigs page for details.
“I lost my ticket”
Once you have collected your tickets, they are solely your responsibility. While we obviously sympathise with the plight of those who lose their tickets or have them stolen, we are unable to reissue them. This is regardless of method of purchase. Even if we have a record of your purchase, we cannot be certain that other less scrupulous members of the public will not use the tickets.
Please treat your tickets like cash, as they are not replaceable.
